Doku Tap (com.appynamic.tap) · September 17, 2026

Este documento está disponible en inglés y francés; se muestra la versión inglesa.

The short version. Doku Tap has no accounts and no sign-up — you can play the whole game without telling us anything. Your progress is stored on your own device. The game shows ads and reports crashes, which involves Google and its advertising partners as described below. Signing in to Google Play Games is optional and only needed for leaderboards, achievements and cloud save. We do not sell your data, and we never ask for your name, address or phone number.

Who we are

Doku Tap is published by APPYNAMIC (company ID 80321944300014), 23 rue Raoul Briquet, 62700 Bruay-la-Buissière, France. This notice describes how this game handles data. It sits alongside our company-wide Appynamic Privacy and Cookie Policy, which covers all our sites and applications and sets out your legal rights in full. Where the two differ about Doku Tap, this page is the more specific and more accurate description.

What stays on your device

Doku Tap keeps your game state in your device's local storage, under keys prefixed doku_. None of it is sent to us. It includes:

  • your campaign level, lives, hints, locates and undos;
  • your settings — sound, volume, haptics, easy mode, draft mode, coordinates, language;
  • your companions: which are unlocked, which is active, which you have played;
  • your mini-game records, best scores and difficulty preferences;
  • the Zen Garden economy, your daily streak, fish balance, XP and badge history;
  • whether you have purchased the ad-free upgrade.

There is no account to create and no profile on our side. Uninstalling the app, or clearing its storage from your device settings, erases all of it permanently.

Google Play Games — optional

Leaderboards, achievements and cloud save are handled by Google Play Games Services. Signing in is entirely optional: declining it costs you nothing but those three features, and the rest of the game is unaffected.

If you do sign in, Google provides us with your Play Games player identifier and display name, and:

  • Leaderboards — the scores you choose to submit are sent to Google and shown next to your Play Games name.
  • Achievements — your unlocked achievements are stored on your Play Games profile.
  • Cloud save — when you use it, a single snapshot of the on-device data listed above is stored in your own Google Drive application-data folder. It contains progress, currency, statistics, streaks, companions, garden state and settings, and no personal identifier; your ad-free entitlement, your daily-challenge time and diagnostic keys are deliberately excluded. It is your data, in your Google account — we cannot browse it. Merging only ever moves progress forward, so a save is never silently overwritten.

Your use of Play Games is also governed by Google's Privacy Policy.

Advertising

Doku Tap is free and funded by advertising. Ads are served by Google AdMob, with Meta Audience Network available as a mediation partner — meaning that when that partner is active, AdMob may pass an ad request to Meta, which then serves the ad. Both are independent data controllers for what they collect, under their own policies: Google Ads and Meta.

To serve and measure ads, these partners may process:

  • your device's advertising identifier;
  • device and app information — model, operating system version, language, country, app version;
  • your approximate, IP-derived region (we never receive or use precise GPS location);
  • ad interaction data such as impressions, clicks and whether a rewarded video was completed.

Consent. In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, a Google-certified consent message (UMP) is shown before any ad is requested, and your choice is respected for the whole session. You can reopen it at any time from Settings → Privacy options inside the game to change or withdraw your choice. If you decline, the game keeps working — it simply stops requesting ads.

Ad content. Ads are limited to a General content rating. Doku Tap is not directed to children, so it does not enable Google's child-directed or under-age-of-consent advertising treatments (see Children below).

Removing ads. The one-off Remove ads purchase stops all advertising in the game, which also ends the ad-related processing described in this section.

Crash reports and usage measurement

To keep the game stable and understand which features are used, Doku Tap includes three Google Firebase components. They are active by default:

ServiceWhat it collectsWhy
Firebase CrashlyticsCrash and error reports: stack traces, device model, OS version, app version, and a Crashlytics installation identifier.To find and fix the crashes you hit.
Firebase AnalyticsA Firebase app-instance identifier, plus aggregate events such as screens opened and sessions started, with device and country information.To see which mini-games and features are actually played.
Firebase PerformanceStart-up times and network-request timings, with device and app version.To find what makes the game slow on real devices.

Firebase Analytics also reads the Google Play install referrer, which tells us which campaign or store listing an install came from.

These three components start when the app starts. The advertising consent message described above governs advertising; it does not gate crash reporting or usage measurement. These reports describe a device and a session, not a person: they carry no name, email address or contact detail. Firebase processing is covered by Google's Firebase privacy documentation.

Purchases

The only purchase in Doku Tap is the one-off ad-free upgrade (tap_remove_ads). It is processed entirely by Google Play Billing. Your payment details never reach the game or our servers — we only receive confirmation that the purchase is valid, and store that fact on your device so the app stays ad-free. Restore purchases re-reads it from your Google account.

What Doku Tap does not do

  • No account, sign-up, email address, name or phone number.
  • No push notifications — the game never asks for notification permission and never sends you one.
  • No precise location, contacts, photos, microphone or camera access.
  • No gameplay data stored on our own servers. We run no game backend: the daily-challenge ranking and the badge rarity figures shown in the game are computed on your device, not collected from other players.
  • No sale of personal data, and no sharing beyond the partners named on this page.

Content loaded from Google servers

The game loads its typeface and a Google measurement script from Google-hosted addresses (fonts.googleapis.com, fonts.gstatic.com and www.googletagmanager.com) when it starts. Like any request to a server, these reveal your IP address and browser user-agent to Google. No game data is sent with them.

Android permissions

Doku Tap itself declares one permission: internet access. The Google and Capacitor components it is built on add a few more, which is why your device may list them:

  • ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE — lets the ad component see whether you are online.
  • AD_ID and the Android Privacy Sandbox permissions (ACCESS_ADSERVICES_AD_ID, _ATTRIBUTION, _TOPICS) — used by advertising and analytics to read your advertising identifier.
  • VIBRATE — the haptic feedback you can turn off in the settings.
  • BILLING — the ad-free purchase.
  • POST_NOTIFICATIONS, WAKE_LOCK, RECEIVE, FOREGROUND_SERVICE — declared by Google's messaging library, which ships inside Google Play Services. As stated above, the game never asks for notification permission and never sends a notification.
  • BIND_GET_INSTALL_REFERRER_SERVICE — lets analytics read the Play install referrer.

The app asks for no runtime permission at all: no location, camera, microphone, contacts, storage or notifications prompt will ever appear.

Children

Doku Tap is family-friendly in tone and includes an easy mode, but it is a general-audience game: it is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 in the EEA), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. Ads are restricted to a General content rating. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child has provided personal information through the game, contact us and we will delete it. Our company-wide policy contains a fuller children's section, including COPPA practices.

How long data is kept

Data on your device is kept until you delete it — by clearing the app's storage or uninstalling. A Play Games cloud save is kept until you delete it from your Google account. Data held by Google and Meta is retained according to their own policies; we do not control those periods.

Your choices and your rights

  • Change or withdraw ad consent — Settings → Privacy options in the game.
  • Limit ad personalisation — your Android or iOS device settings let you reset or delete your advertising identifier and opt out of personalised ads system-wide.
  • Stop advertising entirely — buy the ad-free upgrade.
  • Delete everything — clear the app's storage or uninstall it; delete the Play Games saved game from your Google account.
  • Play Games data — you can disconnect the game or delete its Play Games data from your Google account settings at any time.

Under the GDPR and comparable laws you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability, and you may lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority — in France, the CNIL. Because Doku Tap holds no account and no server-side profile, there is usually nothing on our side to retrieve; for anything involving the partners above, or to exercise a right, contact us and we will help. How to reach us, and the full statement of your rights, are set out in the Appynamic Privacy and Cookie Policy.

Changes to this notice

If the game starts handling data differently, this page is updated and the date at the top changes. Significant changes will be announced in the app.
