Poyo Jelly is out on Google Play

3 mins to read

Poyo Jelly is out on Google Play. It is our first game made for children aged 4 to 9: the Poyos, the squishy jellies of the Candy Kingdom, want only one thing — to be squeezed.

Ten ways to play

Squish, the wardrobe, decorate, the parade, treats, bath time, the magic cauldron, the Jelly book, Squishy World and Chatter. No timer, no score, no game over: children touch, squish and make things up. There are 31 Poyos to discover, including four glow jellies that light up in the dark.

To get a feel for it, you can squish one right on the game's site.

A game parents can hand over

  • no advertising, no advertising identifier, no in-app purchase;
  • no account, no sign-up, no chat with other players;
  • the settings sit in a parent area that opens with a 2-second long press;
  • in Chatter, speech recognition runs on the device only: nothing is recorded or sent.

The only data that leaves the phone is anonymous usage statistics and crash reports, which a parent can switch off. It is all spelled out in the privacy policy.

The App Store version will follow later. In the meantime, if your kids love the Poyos, a review on Google Play helps us a lot. The game site: appynamic.com/squishy.
