The site

This site introduces children, in a playful, illustrated way, to Berck-sur-Mer and the 40th International Kite Festival (17-25 April 2027), with mini-games. The information comes from the sources listed at the bottom of the home page; despite our care, a mistake is always possible — please tell us.

This is an independent project: it is not the official site of the town of Berck-sur-Mer, of the International Kite Festival or of the Pas-de-Calais Département. For the programme, times and access, please refer to their official sites.

Characters and artwork

Paz is the mascot of the Pas-de-Calais Département. Tom, Lila, Pebble the seal and Feather the owl are characters created for this universe. The SVG artwork (sky, kites, lighthouse, seals), the texts and the code of the site belong to APPYNAMIC; the scenery is inspired by the colours of the 40th anniversary poster. The official poster of the 40th International Kite Festival belongs to the town of Berck-sur-Mer; it is shown on this site with its source (berck.fr). Names of places, events and institutions belong to their owners. Any unauthorised reproduction is forbidden, except within the limits set by law.
