Privacy

The short version. This site for kids has no account, no form and no ads. It remembers your language, the kite you designed and your best scores, only in your browser. Visits are measured without cookies.

Who we are

The Berck-sur-Mer · 40 years of kites site is published by APPYNAMIC, Rue des Cyprès, 62290 Noeux-les-Mines, France. This page sits alongside the Appynamic Privacy and Cookie Policy, which sets out your rights in full.

What stays in your browser

• Your language: if you pick a language, a game_lang cookie remembers it for a year, so the site opens in that language next time.
• Your kite: the shape, colours, tail and face of the kite made in the "Design your kite" game are kept in your browser's local storage (berck_kite).
• Your best scores: the mini-games' best scores are kept in the same place (berck_best).

None of this is sent anywhere: clearing the site's data in your browser removes it all. The "Download" button creates the kite picture on your device without sending it anywhere.

Audience measurement

We use Vercel Web Analytics, which counts page views without cookies or persistent identifiers, plus a few anonymous events (a mini-game started or finished, a lighthouse turned on), to learn what people enjoy. No data is sold or used for advertising.

What the site doesn't do

• No account, no form, no newsletter, no chat.
• No ads, no advertising pixel, no embedded social network.
• No location, no camera, no microphone.

Links to other sites

Links to the International Kite Festival, Berck Tourism, the Pas-de-Calais Département or our sources lead to sites with their own privacy rules. We advise children to ask a grown-up before opening them.

Your rights

The GDPR gives you rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability, and the right to complain to the CNIL (the French data protection authority). Since the site keeps no data about you on our side, clearing your browser's cookies and storage removes everything. Any question: support@appynamic.com.
